Screening along rear property lines, decorative aluminum or steel along the frontage, and gates for service areas.
Murfreesboro, Tennessee · Rutherford County
Commercial fencing is judged by different people than a backyard fence: tenants, customers, a property manager, a board, sometimes an inspector. It has to look right from the road, survive trucks and mowers, and arrive on a schedule that doesn't disrupt a business. Send a site plan or have us walk the property, and we'll price it. Footage, post size, fabric or panel type, gates and hardware each get their own line, so our number is easy to compare with other bids.

Screening along rear property lines, decorative aluminum or steel along the frontage, and gates for service areas.

Pool enclosures to the barrier code, amenity fencing, perimeter fence along common ground, and replacement of aging subdivision entry fence. For rental homes inside city limits, the City requires a Tennessee licensed contractor, not the owner, to pull the fence permit.

Playground and ball-field fencing, parking-area screening, and gates that lock when the site closes.
Dumpsters, generators, transformers and rooftop-unit ground equipment all look better hidden. Enclosure panels can be wood, vinyl or composite, hung on a steel frame where trucks are rough on them. Gates are heavy enough to take a bump and fitted with cane bolts that drop into the pad so they stay put during pickup.
Electrical gear has clearance rules. In unincorporated Rutherford County, the fence ordinance keeps fences 5 feet off every side of a transformer, 10 feet off the side with the padlock, plus 5 feet around electrical pedestals. The same ordinance prohibits fences or walls of solid plywood or scrap lumber, and bare concrete block unless it's finished with masonry. That's worth knowing before someone suggests a cheap block enclosure.
Tennis and pickleball courts need tall fabric fence with windscreen and gates wide enough for maintenance equipment. Ball fields need backstops, dugout fencing and outfield fence. In residential districts of unincorporated Rutherford County, the ordinance lets tennis court fence go to 12 feet and a baseball backstop to 16 feet, and we design to those limits. Most of this is heavier-gauge chain link on schedule-rated posts.
In the County's commercial and industrial districts, fences and walls can be up to 15 feet tall, but in front of the main building, toward the street, the limit drops to 6 feet. Height is measured from finished grade, not from the top of a berm. Taller perimeter fence with barbed wire or a rolling gate belongs on our security fence and cantilever gates page. Controlled entrances are covered on gate openers and access control.
